Submission Guidelines
Authors are requested to check the formatting of the paper prior to final camera ready submission. A paper will appear in the proceedings:
- If at least one of the authors of the finally accepted paper registers by paying appropriate fees before the registration deadline,
- Submit online the IEEE e-copyright form,
- Upload camera-ready version of the paper (as per the instructions),
- Fill up the google form, and
- Presents the paper as per the schedule.
Please follow the following steps to finalize the camera ready version of your paper:
Similar to the initial submission, following criteria must be followed:
- Paper Length: US Letter or A4,
- Allowable file size: 5 MB,
- At this stage, the authors must include their names, affiliations, postal addresses, and email addresses in the paper as per the iCACCESS paper template. Please ensure that all authors' information in the CMT submission system matches exactly with the final camera-ready submission. Please do not use "Dr." or "Mr." in the author names, and ensure that the order of authors remains consistent with the information provided in the CMT submission system and copyright documentation.
- Insert header and footer on the first page of your paper as follows:
Header (top left side): 2024 International Conference on Advances in Computing, Communication, Electrical, and Smart Systems (iCACCESS), 8-9 March, Dhaka, Bangladesh
Footer (bottom left side): 979-8-3503-5028-9/24/$31.00 ©2024 IEEE - Page limit: 4-6 pages (including all figures, tables, and references. Under any circumstances cannot exceed the limit of 6 pages). Please exclude any page numbers from the manuscript.
- Plagiarism and Multiple Submissions: iCACCESS 2024 will strictly follow IEEE policies for plagiarism and multiple submissions.
- You need to check the similarity report and reduce the similarity of your paper preferably below 30%. The conference committee will not be able to process your paper if the similarity is more than 30%.
STEP 2: IEEE XPLORE COMPATIBILITY OF PDF FILE
Final camera ready pdf file of your paper must be IEEE Xplore Compatible. You may convert your paper from your source application format (e.g. docx) to Xplore-compatible PDF by using IEEE PDF eXpress.
In brief you need to follow the following steps:
- Select the New Users – Click Here link.
- Enter the following:
- 61735X for the Conference ID
- your email address
- a password
- Continue to enter information as prompted.
- Once you login:
- Upload the source file (e.g. docx) that contains your paper for conversion
- Receive by email the IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF of your paper
Next you need the camera ready pdf file that is generated from the IEEE PDF eXpress or passed by the PDF eXpress compliant checking). Your final submission should be renamed as PID.pdf. For example, the paper ID 249 will be renamed as 249.pdf.
Upon successful conversion, a compliance email will be sent to the author from PDF eXpress, which needs to be submitted during your registration as PDF eXpress compliant proof. The submitted proof should be renamed as PID_pdfeXpress.pdf. For example, the paper ID 249 will be renamed as 249_pdfeXpress.pdf.
STEP 3: CAMERA READY PDF FILE SUBMISSION
Login to your Microsoft CMT Author Portal:
https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/ICACCESS2024/
Upload your final camera ready PDF file of the paper (Generated from IEEE PDF eXpress or Passed the PDF eXpress compliant check) by clicking the “Create Camera Ready Submission” field shown in “Actions” Column of the Author Console and submit your final camera ready through the system.
Note:
- All submissions must have no password protection on the PDF file, and all fonts must be embedded.
- All submitted papers must be written in English.
STEP 4: ELECTRONIC IEEE COPYRIGHT FORM (ECF) SUBMISSION
Login to your Microsoft CMT Author Portal:
https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/ICACCESS2024
Click on the “Submit the IEEE Copyright Form” field shown in “Actions” Column of the Author Console. Follow the instruction of electronic IEEE Copyright Form (eCF) to complete the e-Copyright submission. A PDF copyright document will be created and stored on the IEEE file system automatically. You will have the ability to download the document. The authors will also receive an attached copy of the copyright form in email. A copy of the copyright form needs to be uploaded during final camera ready submission as an additional document. Please rename it as PID_copyright.pdf. For example, the paper ID 249 will be renamed as 249_copyright.pdf.
Note: ONLY electronic submission of copyright form is allowed and transferring IEEE copyright form electronically is a necessary requirement for publishing your paper in IEEE Xplore.
STEP 5: REGISTRATION
Please check the registration details on the conference website and complete your registration in order to participate in ICACCESS 2024. Authors are required to register and pay their registration fees using BKASH or Bank Transfer by the deadline.
Active IEEE membership number (if applicable), copy of Student ID (if applicable) and a scanned copy (PDF) of your payment slip needs to be uploaded by renaming it as PID_payment slip.pdf.
